The cable network announced on Tuesday (Feb. 13) that the sophomore installment of "The Sarah Silverman Program" will be a 14-episode run, beginning with seven episodes to premiere in the fall.

"We couldn’t be happier with the success of ‘The Sarah Silverman Program,’" says Lauren Corrao, Comedy Central’s executive vice president for original programming and development. "The exceptional critical acclaim combined with the fantastic ratings has created a new Thursday night destination for our viewers. The show is smart, innovative, irreverent and politically incorrect — that, to me, is the purest example of a Comedy Central success."

To the network’s release, Silverman added only the comment, "Sweet!"

"The Sarah Silverman Program" stars comic Sarah Silverman as Sarah Silverman, a young woman whose daily life consists of scripted scenes and musical numbers. Co-stars in Silverman’s life include her real-life sister Laura Silverman, as well as comics Brian Posehn, Steve Agee and Jay Johnston.

The series premiered on Feb. 1 and became Comedy Central’s most successful primetime launch since 2004. The first two episodes averaged 1.7 million viewers and 1.3 million viewers in the 18-49 demographic. The network boasts that "The Sarah Silverman Program" has won its 10:30-11:00 p.m. time slot for both cable and broadcast among males 18-24 both of its weeks on air.

Through March and April, FOX will launch "The Wedding Bells," "The Winner" and "Drive," while giving new time periods to "’Til Death," "The War at Home" and "Standoff." Among the new shows, the first out of the box is "The Winner," a comedy from Ricky Blitt ("Family Guy"). The Rob Corddry vehicle will get a two episode dose on Sunday, March 4 and FOX will burn through the rest of the episode order by showing "The Winner" at 8:30 and 9:30 on three consecutive Sundays. Sunday will also welcome "The War at Home" back into the fold. The second-year comedy began on Sunday, but had a temporary move to Thursday nights. As of March 4, "The War at Home" will make its home at 7:30 on Sundays. David E. Kelley’s romantic dramedy "The Wedding Bells," will get a special premiere on Wednesday, March 7 after "American Idol" before moving to its regular Friday night 9 p.m. ET time slot. "Wedding Bells" will be joined by freshman drama "Standoff," as the negotiators series goes to Friday nights at 8 p.m. The third new series, Tim Minear’s "Drive," is held off to April. Focusing on an underground car race across America, "Drive" will premiere in a two-night, three-hour event on Sunday, April 15 (8-10 p.m.) and Monday, April 16 (8-9 p.m.). Subsequent episodes will stay in the Monday 8 p.m. slot leading into "24." Also shifting in the spring is "’Til Death." The Thursday night survivor will go to Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m., taking advantage of the post-"American Idol" boosts. "’Til Death" will face its final Thursday slaughter on Feb. 15 before airing post-"Idol" on Feb. 27 and Feb. 28 post-"Idol," going to its regular time period on Wednesday, March 14. What of Thursday? The competitive night has already lost "Happy Hour" and "The O.C." will have its series finale in late February. Leading contenders include a new installment of "Hell’s Kitchen," as well as the second year comedy "The Loop," which has filmed 10 episodes without a schedule slot.

A well-placed source just told me that Washington will have a face-to-face sit down with the entire Grey’s cast tomorrow where his coworkers plan to tell him how they feel about his behavior. "It’s a meeting so he can hear them all out," my source says. "And it will go on as long as it needs to go." My source says ABC executives are not expected to attend. Meanwhile, it’s no surprise that the battle is on to land the first post-apology interview with Washington. And if and when that happens, count on it being with an ABC news outlet. Chances are it will come down to either Barbara Walters or Diane Sawyer, and my source predicts that Sawyer will score. "If he does go on TV, don’t be surprised if he ends up on Good Morning America," my source says. "But he’s not doing anything until this is all straightened out."

With the Touchstone Television-produced show now in syndication, Lawrence says, should NBC pass on bringing the show back, it will find a home at Touchstone’s corporate cousin, ABC. "Since every produced episode makes a ton of money for Touchstone," Lawrence says, "they told us not to write a finale for this year." The show has a strong chance of returning to NBC next year, he adds. "We’ve essentially been told that NBC is really happy with how we are doing. I would say it’s better than a coin flip we are back on NBC." Airing at 9 p.m. between The Office and rookie 30 Rock, Scrubs is averaging a solid 3.5 rating/9 share in the adult 18-49 demo as part of a Thursday-night comedy block that is cherished by NBC President Kevin Reilly. At a median age of 36.1, it is the network’s youngest-skewing primetime series. "NBC isn’t the same juggernaut anymore," Lawrence says, "but it still feels cool to be on Thursdays." But he understands that there is less financial motivation for NBC to keep the Touchstone-produced show on the network. "The show is a dinosaur, on one network and completely owned by another," he acknowledges. And Touchstone continues to show faith in the show. The studio greenlighted a Jan. 18 musical episode at double the cost of a typical installment. Lawrence also says that the show would not continue without star Zach Braff, but he "feels pretty good" that Braff is on board for a seventh and final season.

ABC said Sunday that its scheduling means you won’t have to choose. The dance contest will air at 8 p.m. Mondays and 9 p.m. Tuesdays, starting in March. The regular Tuesday slot for Fox’s American Idol will be 8 p.m. Tuesdays. "I think our fans would have been upset, Idol fans would have been upset if we had put them head to head," Steve McPherson, president of ABC Entertainment, told TV critics on their winter tour. ABC will announce the celebrity competitors on Good Morning America. But McPherson gave no date for the announcement and said the network is just halfway through the selection process. In a release, ABC said the show’s start date would be March 19. But ABC is likely to offer a March 18 preview, McPherson said. The show proved a major fall hit for ABC, which is owned by the Walt Disney Co. In other news: McPherson dismissed the Donald Trump-Rosie O’Donnell feud, which started on ABC’s The View. "To me, the entire thing is stupid," McPherson said. "It’s a publicity stunt for Trump."

The reason this was chosen for show of the week is because it is simply halarious and is almost over. Harvey Birdman, Attorney At Law is about a birdman named Harvey. He is obviously an attorney. He has several coworkers including a horny hippopotmus, a younger birdman, Peanut, the boss, the bosses daughter Judy, and more. The show goes through almost pointless court cases, but makes them all funny. Court cases isn’t all that’s in the series, it includes meetings, holiday parties, and even more halariously pointless topics! The show is rated TV-14. If you ever see that this show is on you need to watch it, you won’t regret it!

Headed for the site is The Watch List, a stand-up showcase featuring only Muslim-American comics. The show is from Dean Obeidallah and Max Brooks (Emmy-winning writer for Saturday Night Live).

Also launching soon is the hidden-camera show Meet the Creeps and animated comedy Samurai Love God. Racist Travel Agents follows upbeat and excited husband and wife travel agents who are also incredibly racist. Moonwalk 1986 features crudely animated toy astronauts.

The Fudge Judge is the first Comedy Central Web show to be made from a TV property. Judge stars the titular chocolate bar from the animated TV series Drawn Together. The network is also moving the short-film showcase Jump Cuts to its site.

In the previous episode "Sofia’s Choice" Sofia revealed to everyone, including Daniel that she was just using him for a magazine article. Betty and Christina go to investigate before all of that and they go to the strip club where Hunter works after Betty sees Sofia hand Hunter a big wad of cash in front of it. They go question him and he tells that he was hired to act like Sofia’s boyfriend for part of the whole plot of using Daniel. Sofia said that you must be unavailible to get someone to propose to you within 60 days, along with many other things. Betty figures that Sofia was just using her just as she did Daniel, after she revealed that she was using him, and Betty quit Sofia’s magazine.

Everyone expected that someone on the show that actually matters would be pregnant, not some girl that just showed up that noone even cares about. Why would The-N be so stupid as to advertise the hell out of someone being pregnant when it’s some other surfer thats not a character for more than one episode?! That was the dumbest move ever, I was extremely disappointed. Oh well, it’ll hopefully get better. The episode other than that was pretty good but I really don’t understand why the-n would do that. Oh well…

These shorts have been created by all new writers and producers. The Drawn Together creators made the character but they honestly have no idea what these shorts will be like. The character has been handed down to new people. The shorts will be called "Judge Fudge Power Hour In Color". Matt Silverstein (creator) confirmed in an e-mail to me, all of this provided information. Look for those in October 2007!
